Dr. Cohen is Professor of Psychology at Louisiana State University. His research focuses on adapting and automating biobehavioral technologies to assess clinical problems including psychosis, mania, and suicidality. His work has been funded by private and public agencies, including NIMH and the Norwegian Research Council, and has received institutional awards for teaching and research.
He is a licensed clinical psychologist and currently serves as the LSU IRB chair. He received his PhD at Kent State University and had post-doctoral training at the University of Maryland. He has served on the editorial boards of Clinical Psychological Science, Psychologist Papers, Schizophrenia Bulletin, and Journal of Abnormal Psychology, and is deputy editor at Schizophrenia Bulletin.
