What are Digital Biomarkers?

Digital biomarkers are electronic measures of behavior and symptoms measured in the moment during the person’s usual activities.  The measures come from recorded audio and video, as well as passive measures such as geolocation and accelerometry recorded by a phone sensor, or measures of gait using a sensor in a shoe.
